If cell is between two values, then output text

I need a formula for cell A3 that should output:
* value from E1 - if A1 is less than D1 and greater than C1;
* value from E2 - if A1 is less than D2 and greater than C2;
* value from E3 - if A1 is less than D3 and greater than C3;

Ex:
* if A1=8.5, then A3=B
* if A1=3.1, then A3=A
--and so on.

= IF(AND(A1 < D1,A1 > C1),E1,IF(AND(A1 < D2,A1 > C2),E2,IF(AND(A1 < D3,A1 > C3),E3,"")))
