Dear all,
I have a formula which is :

GFR = 175 x (S<SUB>cr</SUB>)<SUP>-1.154</SUP> x (Age)<SUP>-0.203</SUP> x (0.742 if female)

I am having 2 problems:
Firstly, in the end of the formula,, how do i give the command as to x0.742 only if the person is a female....

secondly, how do I go 'over the power of' ( for -1.154 and -0.203) ?

TQ!

Fastest way to copy a worksheet?
Hold down the Ctrl key while dragging tab for Sheet1 to the right. Excel will make a copy of the worksheet.
To create exponents, use the caret: ^

For example: =2^2

Or use the POWER function, e.g. =POWER(2,2)

For the last part, try: =....... *IF(A1="Female",0.742,1)

This will multiply the rest of the formula by .742 or 1 (female or male). Multiplying by 1 doesn't change the answer, of course.
