I am currently trying to figure out how to do the formula to auto determine a fee.

Basically, I have a cell with the total costs of a project, "E44"

In a new cell, I want to put the fee determined on that total.

Fee structure is a follows:

$1 - $25,000 = 6%
$25,001 - $100,000 = 5%
$100,001 - $250,000 = 4%
$250,001+ =3%

Thank you!!!

Hi,

Assuming you don't mean a "Tier" fee, but a "Fixed" fee:

Book1
ABCDEF
11250006%
2250011000005%
31000012500004%CostFee
42500013%1750007000
Sheet232
Cell Formulas
RangeFormula
F4=LOOKUP(E4,A1:A4,C1:C4)*E4

If it's a tiered fee. First 25,000 at 6% then the next 75,000 at 5% etc.
Try:
Excel Workbook
ABCDE
1ThresholdRateRate Diff
2$06%6%
3$25,0005%-1%
4$100,0004%-1%CostFee
5$250,0003%-1%$175,000$8,250
Sheet
