IF formula help

In this fictitious cross-listed course, there are undergraduate and graduate students. Bonus marks areawarded, based on attendance of course seminars. An undergraduate student get a bonus of five (5)marks if he/she attended Seminar 1 or Seminar 2 (or both). However, a graduate student only gets abonus of five (5) marks if she/he attended both Seminar 1 and Seminar 2. Otherwise, zero (0) bonusmarks are given to that student. Calculate the bonus marks for each student listed.

And what does "doesn't work" mean? wrong answer? no answer? something else?

wrong answer because it does not indicate for whether it is a grad or undergrad student or if they have been present or not

use the below formula I sure It will help you

=IF(AND(B3="Graduate",C3+D3>1),2, IF(AND(B3="Undergraduate",C3+D3>0),2,0))

Its checking first for Graduate then Seminar attended or not else undergraduate seminar attended or not
