Hi There

I have the following formula =IF(BQ64,SUM(BO64+BQ64),BO64)

If there is a number in cell BQ64 then I want Cell BP64 to return the sum of cells BO64 & BQ64. If there is no number in cell BQ64 then I want Cell BP64 to return only the value in Cell BO64.

Seems simple enough and works ok except when there is no number in cell BQ64 then Cell BP64 is showing #value

Is my formula wrong?
I would appreciate someones help.

Thanks

Gerald

Excel Facts

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
You need a True/false test and do not need sum. try this instead

=IF(ISNUMBER(BQ64),BO64+BQ64,BO64)

=IF(ISNUMBER(BQ64)=TRUE,SUM(BO64+BQ64),IF(ISNUMBER(BQ64)=FALSE,BO64,""))

????

Is this Good for you?
