If formula to show all data before certain point in a cell

I have a list of cells that has information countaining:

Clients Name - Telephone Number

What i need is a formula that will only show all data before the hyphen, is this possible?

Select a hidden cell
Somehide hide payroll data in column G? Press F5. Type G1. Enter. Look in formula bar while you arrow down through G.
Why not use Data>Text to columns... with the hyphen as a delimiter?
