I wonder if any one can help me with the below please

I have two work sheets one which registers a day as Hol, and one which needs to register the seem information as the number of hours holiday taken, The people using this spreadsheet need to only have to enter the hol on to the one sheet and the rest need to auto fill, I have tried the following
=IF(Year!I8=Hol,7,0)

however this just brings me up the name error, any ideas?

Could try

=IF(Year!I8="Hol",7,0)
