So i have a list of data in a table format that includes the state, date, and project name, etc.. on a seperate sheet I am computing the number of deals per state. I need something more than a count if function because it is counting the blanks in my table yet to be entered data. I am wondering of you are able to nest a counif function into an if function? and how to make it so my blanks arent counted.

Excel Facts

How to create a cell-sized chart?
Tiny charts, called Sparklines, were added to Excel 2010. Look for Sparklines on the Insert tab.
Could you post some sample data, expected results, and the formula you are using now?

Look Here for a lot of ways to count: http://www.contextures.com/xlfunctions04.html#CountA
