If (ISNA) statement

Having problems with this statement
=if(d1=g1,"cr",vlookup(d1,invoice,tr,false))

I am getting a "N/A error on the vlookup. Can anyone help put the condition in ISNA

Thank you, but I left something out.

G1 is the column with the #n/a, I need it to lookup if G1 is error

=if(ISNA(G1),"was error",IF(D1=G1,"cr",vlookup(d1,invoice,tr,false)))
