I have 3 list. List 1 has vehicle descriptions.

List 2 are body types which relates to one of the values in List 1
List 3 are body types which relates to all the other values in List 1.

Is it possible to create a custom list. If My2014 is selected in List 1 if gives me the options from List 2 in the another drop down list. And if all other options are selected then use the detail in the 3 list.

Apologies if i'm not explaining this properly.

Hi burlinghamla,

What you are describing is a dynamic dependant drop-down list, where the contents of the second drop-down list depends on the value selected from the first drop-down list.

I covered this for someone else most recently here: http://www.mrexcel.com/forum/excel-questions/859481-dynamic-dropdown-named-range.html

Have a read through of the above and hopefully it should get you going in the right direction. If you still require further help after reading that, you will need to give us some example data to work with.
