I have a large spreadsheet, formatted as a table. column J shows an expected delivery date. I would like to add in column M some conditional formatting to show:

Overdue (i.e not received by today)
Delivery expected (i.e. due today and/or within 3 days)
On time (i.e. due in four days +)

Could someone point me in the right direction, please? Should i use an IF statement or IFS?

Many thanks,

Mel

When did Power Query debut in Excel?
Although it was an add-in in Excel 2010 & Excel 2013, Power Query became a part of Excel in 2016, in Data, Get & Transform Data.
For conditional formatting it would usually just be a single logical test, using your 3 examples, something like this with A2 as a reference date.

=A2<TODAY()

=A2<=TODAY()+3

=A2>=TODAY()+4
