This formula is not working...

=IF(BS17="R",VLOOKUP('bat calcs'!$AN$28,tab,3),VLOOKUP('bat calcs'!$AN$28,tab,4))="","",if(BS17="R",vlookup('bat calcs'!$AN$28,tab,3),VLOOKUP('bat calcs'!$AN$28,tab,4)

The formula below is working fine...

=IF(VLOOKUP(calculations!$M$14,NegTable!$A$80:$I$155,8)="","",VLOOKUP(calculations!$M$14,NegTable!$A$80:$I$155,8))

Please let me know what is wrong with first formula?

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
=IF(IF(BS17="R",VLOOKUP('bat calcs'!$AN$28,tab,3),VLOOKUP('bat calcs'!$AN$28,tab,4))="","",if(BS17="R",vlookup('bat calcs'!$AN$28,tab,3),VLOOKUP('bat calcs'!$AN$28,tab,4))

I think even one more parenthesis is needed
=IF(IF(BS17="R",VLOOKUP('bat calcs'!$AN$28,tab,3),VLOOKUP('bat calcs'!$AN$28,tab,4))="","",IF(BS17="R",VLOOKUP('bat calcs'!$AN$28,tab,3),VLOOKUP('bat calcs'!$AN$28,tab,4)))
