How can I nest this to return 1, 0, or -1 to my cell?

=IF((J4>R4),1,0)
=IF(J4-R4)=0,0
=IF(J4-R4<0,-1

thanks

### Excel Facts

Whats the difference between CONCAT and CONCATENATE?
The newer CONCAT function can reference a range of cells. =CONCATENATE(A1,A2,A3,A4,A5) becomes =CONCAT(A1:A5)

Try

=SIGN(J4-R4)

Great these worked. Now have to go look up this SIGN function, never used before.
Interesting! Now if I could just get these pivot icons working...
