Hi,

could someone tell me how this is happening

Code:
    If "LetMeIn" = "letmein" Then
        MsgBox "match"
    End If

I am putting password protected user access onto an app and decided to find what would happen if I tried some deliberately false conditions. I realise Security is a bit of a joke with MS Apps but surely not this bad.....so what do I need to do to get this to spot the difference.

oh yeah Access 2003 on XP

just realised... I never actually stated what was happening
The above code will actually show me the MsgBox.

Excel Facts

What is the fastest way to copy a formula?
If A2:A50000 contain data. Enter a formula in B2. Select B2. Double-click the Fill Handle and Excel will shoot the formula down to B50000.
David

Access is case insensitive.

Try placing this at the top of the code.
Code:
Option Compare Binary
