if statement

I have an if statement that i need to modify.

in the column i am looking at, there can be 4 different values.

S8000 indoor
S12000 outdoor
S8000 outdoor
S12000 outdoor

I need to know what the wild card symbol is.

I want the statement to be like this. Where as it only looks for the work "indoor".

If(k5="indoor","-48vdc","220 vdc")

=IF(ISNUMBER(SEARCH("indoor",K5)),"-48vdc","200 vdc")
