Okay I am a student at Creighton and have never really dealt with if statements before and I am lost. I have to figure out if people get a bonus. But if they sell a certain number of house they get the bonus or if they sell a certain amount of money in houses they get the bonus. But if they do both they get a bigger bonus. Can anyone help me figure out where to start?

Excel Facts

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
Okay there are two types of houses if they sell a total of 12 houses they get a bonus of 25000, or if they sell over 2,200,000 worth in both houses they get the 25,000 bonus but if they sell over 12 houses and more than 2,200,000 worth of houses they get 40,000 in a bonus

I assume you mean 2.2M or over then the formula is
Assuming the no. of houses is in cell a1 and amount sold is in cell b1 then
the formula is
=IF(AND(A1>=12,B1>=2200000),40000,IF(A1>=12,25000,IF(B1>=2200000,25000,0)))
