I tried using this based on another post

=(IF(C5="Jim",H5*27.5,IF(C5="Don",H5*29,IF(C5="Francisco",H5*25.5,IF(C5="Cristobal",H5*16,IF(C5="Paulino",H5*19,IF(C5="Alex",H5*19,IF(C5="","",)))))))&IF(C5="Joe",H5*15,IF(C5="Martin",H5*28.5,IF(C5="Ernesto",H5*16,IF(C5="","")))))

but keep getting this as an example

159.5FALSE

I am sure I just missed something small somewhere in there.

Thanks in advance!!

Use a lookup table:

Excel 2010
ABCDEFGH
1Jim27.5
2Don29
3Francisco25.5
4Cristobal16
5Paulino19Jim2750100
6Alex19
7Joe15
8Martin28.5
9Ernesto16

<colgroup><col><col><col><col><col><col><col><col><col></colgroup><thead>
</thead><tbody>
</tbody>
Sheet2
The formula in D5 is:

=IF(C5="","",H5*VLOOKUP(C5,A1:B9,2,FALSE))

Hi,

Try:

=IF(C5="Jim",H5*27.5,IF(C5="Don",H5*29,IF(C5="Francisco",H5*25.5,IF(C5="Cristobal",H5*16,IF(C5="Paulino",H5*19,IF(C5="Alex",H5*19,IF(C5="","",)))))))&IF(C5="Joe",H5*15,IF(C5="Martin",H5*28.5,IF(C5="Ernesto",H5*16,"")))

I would use a lookup table though as Andrew suggests.

Thanks to both of you!! I think Dom’s will work easier for the sheets I need to use it for and because I really don't know much about using a lookup table.

Ohh one more quick question. I lost the formatting using Dom's formula. How do II get it back to currency?
