Hello all.
Our business is such that our customers often have parent/child relationships.
Look at Sheet2 and find the most recent invoice date in column D for the child account name in column B. Column B is then matched with the child account name in column F of Sheet1. The date would then be entered into column AU on Sheet1. I did this by using the formula: =MAXIFS(Sheet2!D:D,Sheet2!B:B,F3).
Now I need to add to this formula that says if the cell in column B (child account name) of sheet 2 is blank, it needs to look in column A (customer name account) of sheet 2. This would be matched with the customer account name in column E on Sheet1. Then the date would be entered into column AU of Sheet1.
How would I write my formula to handle the second part of this? Is this an If/Then formula? Hopefully I've explained this well enough.
Thanks in advance.
