It's a basic sheet I'm making for sports betting just to show the potential returns on bets depending on the odds. I made a simplified sample here that's reproducing the same errors as my original sheet, and as the title says I want to put if(odds<0,(do my formula for the favorite, otherwise the underdog) but apparently I have to put ">0" for it to work. Idk why or if it might be causing other problems I'm having which I'll only mention one for now being...

"false" it's returning in my final column. I separated all the formulas in several columns for easier viewing and troubleshooting. When betting on the 2nd team/contestant I'm still getting false.

Whats going wrong here? I've got other glitches too, when I start adding rows suddenly the calculations go wonky even though they're apparently all the same as they're supposed to be but I'm wondering if my issues might all stem from the <>0 issue. Any ideas? Thanks

Sample sheet

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.

How do you mark a thread as solved? I don't see any buttons for this

How do you mark a thread as solved?
This forum does not mark threads as solved. Instead, if a post in the thread answers your question you can tick the 'Mark as solution' button at the top right of the solution post.

If the solution is not in the thread but you have solved it elsewhere, you can just post back in the thread saying that you have solved it and require no more help.
