I am using the following statement in a work book:
=IF(C4=30,DATE(YEAR(B4),12,30),DATE(YEAR(B4)+1,6,30))

When there is nothing entered in the sheet I dont want it to show 30-Jun-01. The basic function is if there is nothing in the two cells B + C then I want a blank Cell if something is entered then I want the two date functions to apply. Is there a way??

The value for cell B will be a date.
The value for cell C will be either 30 or 55

Thanks.

What is =ROMAN(40) in Excel?
The Roman numeral for 40 is XL. Bill "MrExcel" Jelen's 40th book was called MrExcel XL.
=if(or(c4="",b4=""),"",if(c4=30,date(year(b4),12,30),date(year(b4)+1,6,30)))

How about

=IF(AND(C4="",B4=""),"",IF(C4=30,DATE(YEAR(B4),12,30),DATE(YEAR(B4)+1,6,30)))

Hope this helps..
