I'm creating a sales dashboard that uses Conditional Formatting. My columns range from E - P Jan through December. Row 2 = sales target and row 3 = Sales Result.

I'm trying to use Conditional Formatting formatting so that if cell e2 is greater than e3 the cell is highlighted green. My question is do I need to use a conditional formating rule for 12 cells for each month? Or is there a shortcut / function that can help?

Excel Facts

Square and cube roots
The =SQRT(25) is a square root. For a cube root, use =125^(1/3). For a fourth root, use =625^(1/4).
If you select E2:P2 then apply the rule
Excel Formula:
=E2>E3
it will work for the entire range.
