Imbedding Functions into Spreadsheet w/o loading Add-ins

If there a way to imbedd a function, e.g., COUNTDIFF, into a spreadsheet without having to load an ADD-in, e.g., MOREFUNC.

I would like to allow my speadsheet to be used by my colleagues without requiring them to install an Add-in in order to get the spreadsheet to work.

There is an option to embed the addin when sharing the worksheet.
