Hi

I have imported a file of data and every so often there is a blank row (and there is a lot of them). How do I delete in one go the blank rows, trying to avoid right clicking every line then "delete row"

I am using Excel 2007

Thanks

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
Hi. Try this

Code:
Sub DelBl()
On Error Resume Next
Columns("A").SpecialCells(xlCellTypeBlanks).EntireRow.Delete
On Error GoTo 0
End Sub

Press ALT + F11 to open the Visual Basic Editor, select Module from the Insert menu and post the code into the white space on the right. Press ALT + Q.

Press ALT + F8, click on DelBl and click the Run button.
