Hello guys, I've googled and searched the forums for the VBA code for doing this. Below is the code that I've found.

I'm really new to Access and badly in need of some adjustments to this code or providing me with a more relevant code.
I hope someone can help me with it. What I want is to import all the worksheets in a multiple workbooks under the same folder into a single Access Table.

Below is sample code to initially get a workbook and sheet to upload into a access table. What is requried then is to do this for each sheet and then each workbook.

See if you can adapt this part to work on workbook and worksheet then post the code back and I will then take a look for you.

You will need to set the Reference to use ADO.

Each sheet needs to have the same layout.

I'm kinda new to Access and there are many things that I do not understand in the code. I added some comments inside. Appreciate if you can help me with this.

How do we set the Reference to use ADO?

With your database open click on Alt F11. Then click on Tools, References and select ADO (MS ActiveX Data Objects). Save and Close.

Just reading your questions.

1 .Workbooks.Open "my wb directory address will go here" Answer Yes include file extension of either .xls or .xlsx or .xlsm depending on versions

2. rst.Open "name of my table?", Yes

3. For Each ws in ActiveWorkbook Yes

4. ws.Sheets("DF").Select 'Is this line still neccessary? No

5. .Fields("FieldName").Value = ws.ActiveCell.Offset(0, 0) 'So rows under the respective columns will be added? No this is the first cell that has been selected

6. .Fields("FieldName").Value = ws.ActiveCell.Offset(0, 2) 'Column C added? Yes Cell A2 is the selected cell so 2 columns to the right

Thank you for your help! I tried to find ADO using Tools--->References. But I only found ADOR which is the closest match to it. Is it the same or I have to download it from Microsoft?

For Microsoft ActiveX Data Objects, there are like multi dimensionals one and different versions of the library. Do I just select any?

The reference to ADO is a Microsoft ActiveX Data Objects 6.0 Object Library.

In the code you placed in the thread you have to change all the field names and also the Column Numbers have to be changed they shouldn't all be 1.

I set the ADO reference already and the next error was the 'Dim ws As Excel.Application'. The error type was something like 'User defined type not defined'.

With regards to the offset statements, fieldname = Heading of the column?

And if I want to put in column A, B and C then i should write it as:
