I am trying to figure out if there's a way to import data into excel while keeping the original numbers. Example, I have 20 clients. Half of the clients have numbers of 1-10. The others have numbers of 01-010 (leading zero). Of course when I bring this in, excel takes this as a number so then I have only 1-10 & not 01-010. Is there any way to keep this formatting after importing it into excel?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!!

Hello,

When you import into Excel using the import wizard, on step 3 of 3, you can select your column with the client numbers and format the column data as Text. Hope this helps.
