Is there a way to set up a CSV file with a cell address so that text from each CSV record goes to the ID'd cell? I'm sure it can be done with VBA, but I'd like to avoid that if I can.
Each line of the CSV would have, presumably, three values: the row and column IDs and then the text to be put in the cell
My goal is to take data from a database and then import it to Excel in a format that allows seeing the locational relationships between items (in my case it's courses ina curriculum - a given row is a subject area and the different columns are terms the c ourse is usually taken.)
