As a regular poster, I often check back to see if the solution proposed has now answered the OP's question.
What would be useful would be another search button at the top eg "My Search" that could be configured in the profile such as
Author : s-o-s
Number of most recent posts : 20
The return would then be my most recent posts (Not only those where I am the OP but my responses !!!)
I can see someone like Aladin / Juan taking ages to run the query on all their responses using Author therefore the limit should stop the query as soon as the limit has been hit.
