When i create a table, its fine if the range its created from has the case that there are different formulas in different rows of a single column. These are preserved. (For example if one row in the column has =7/8, and another has =23/14, these two different values are preserved in that column for the respective rows.

BUT, if i add a column to the table, and start entering different formulas in each row, each time i enter a new formula, all the rows of that column, get changed to the same formula.

Is there a way, within a table, to say "I want to enter a formula in this cell, but i do not want to change all the other rows in this column in this table to have this formula. I want all those other rows to remain as they were"?

Thanks!
Tom

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
