Hi all,

I have a formula which takes text existing in cells and puts them into one cell.

I need to have each of these bits of text on a new paragraph - is this possible using formulas?

Alt+enter doesn't work when entered like this;

=C9&
C10&
C11

Shade all formula cells
To shade all formula cells: Home, Find & Select, Formulas to select all formulas. Then apply a light fill color.
Try with CHAR(10) for new line:
Code:
=C9&CHAR(10)&C10&CHAR(10)&C11

Misca thank you.

That partially works.

When I use that it looks fine in the formula wizard box but on the actual spreadsheet I get the little box that excel inserts when it doesn't understand the charachter.

This may be something to do with my installation, not sure.

Make sure your cell has the Wrap Text option checked:
  1. From the Format menu select Cells and then click the Alignment tab;
  2. Put a check mark in the Wrap Text option and click OK.
