I have a table. At random moments, i put in column A date/time value by fixing the =now() value. In colunm B i put the energy in kWh between the previous row and the actual row as an avarage per day.
Sometimes i create a new row every day, and sometimes once a week/month.

Some random lines from my table:

27-3-2019 32,00
28-3-2019 49,79
29-3-2019 40,73
5-4-2019 39,62
8-4-2019 26,47
10-4-2019 36,87
15-4-2019 43,29
21-4-2019 36,93
25-4-2019 37,44
3-5-2019 32,68

Is it possible to make a graph in excel showing the date as a timeline on the X and the avarage as a line on the Y?

Excel Facts

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
Something like this?

Add a column Average. Enter =AVERAGE(B:B) in the first cell and copy down.
Select the range with the data.
Then go to the Insert tab and insert a graph:

Thanks Sijpie,
This is exactly what I was looking for.

The trick was 2-d graph. Now the timeline is regular.
