In need of help with a database

Hey y'all. I have a problem that I do not know how to solve. I am a basic excel user whose supervisor has laid a requirement on him above his skill level. I am working in 2003.

Here's what I need help with. I have a database in which I track which employees fill out paperwork on company trucks. There are 15 trucks and 20 employees. The database works fine, and with the use of a couple of filters, I can easily tell who isn't filling out there paper work. Now my boss wants it set up so that the database tells him which employees haven't filled out the paperwork and which trucks haven't had paperwork turned in for them. Apparently auto-filters are to complicated for him. Have I lost you yet?

I do not have a copy of my workbook on this PC, but I can explain it fairly easy. Sheet 1 is a data entry sheet. It has validation lists for all drivers and trucks. All I have to do is enter the pick the driver's name and a truck number out of a drop down list. I click a button and it is all copied and saved in a database. Sheet 2 is the database itself, where the info can be sorted by date, driver, and truck number. How can I generate a database that shows which drivers and which trucks have NOT had paperwork turned in ?

Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
Hi,

Welcome to the forum.

Could you post a sample of your database?

To do this
Select a relevant part of your data, say, 10/15 rows including headers, put borders, copy (Ctrl+C), and paste in the forum reply-page.

Hi,

Considering your data-sample what are the expected results?

M.
Lets see if I can explain this better. I am currently generating a list of who submitted paperwork. Is there some way (conditional formatting,Vlookup, Macro...) that I can generate a list of who did not submit paperwork?

How does one conclude from the sample you posted to "who did not submit paperwork"?
