Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
Hi:

Have you looked in to see all the spreadsheets that you may have open?

Check to see if this sheet may be hidden behind the one you may have open.

I go to window, and only the previously files are open. If I close all of them I am left with a gray empty excel. I do not think they are hidden.

I can open the file that way, I am trying to figure out why I can't on a normal basis.

Hi:

one last try ...

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;290852

Try this....

1. Close the message.
2. Start Excel.
3. On the Tools menu, click Options.
4. Under the General tab, click to clear the ignore other applications option, and then click OK.
5. Quit Excel.
Now you can double-click the attachment to open it in Excel, and you can save it to your hard disk, and then double-click the file to open it.

hope this hepls
