We just recently switched to Windows 7 with office 10; some how I made a setup change to the open/save window in Excel. When I try to open or save a file the window that appears showing the directory's and files are minimized and I see a large section that is grey beneth it. Can anyone tell me how to fix this, when I try to resize the window only the grey section grows or shrinks.

I am not sure how to add a scren shot to this post.
but here is an attempt to show what I see. (Note: ----- below represents grey color on the screen)

My Documentes - March - Month End - Sales

Directory Name Size Date
Sales Northesat area 145 KB 3-1-13
Purchases Southeast area 205 KB 3-1-13
Inventory West area 307 KB 3-1-13
Turnover Centeral area 45 KB 3-1-13

File Name: _____________________ All Excel Files

Tools Open Cancel

What used to show was the following.

My Documentes - March - Month End - Sales

Sales Northesat area 145 KB 3-1-13
Purchases Southeast area 205 KB 3-1-13
Inventory West area 307 KB 3-1-13
Turnover Centeral area 45 KB 3-1-13
WIP Canada 780 KB 3-1-13
Revenue America 789 KB 3-1-13

Audit Requests

File Name: _____________________ All Excel Files

Tools Open Cancel

In short about 85% of the window is grey and I can not see all of the various folders/files in the window and have to scroll up/down many times to find what I am looking for.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Regards,
Doug
