Incorrect date format in x-axis of pivot chart

I see the following date format in x-axis of pivot chart. It is not changing even after I changed the format to dd-mmm-yy in format axis option. Source pivot table also has the format dd-mmm-yy. Does any one know why it happens & how to fix this?
