How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
Assuming your start number is in cell A1 and the cell is formatted as "Text" (so that you keep trailing zeroes). Change the cell format for cell A2 to "General" and put this formula in cell A2...

=1+LEFT(A1,FIND(".",A1)-1)&MID(A1,FIND(".",A1),15)

and copy it down as far as you want. Note that all the formula cells will convert to "Text" format.

Sorry, I misread your question. Ignore the above. Simply format the cell with your first number as TEXT (make sure the trailing zero does not disappear) and then drag that cell down.
