I have a few cells with relevant values and here is a small explanation of what I want to do.
I have master cells j2 and k2.
I also have values in cells h15 and h16 then j15 and j16 but these are rough values sometimes very far apart i.e h15 far apart from h16 and j15 far apart from j16.
i also have the increment that i would add or subtract in m2.
If i type add in l2, add increment in m2 to value in k2 until i get a closely calibrated figure as close to the figure in h16 as possible, then the same for h15 in another cell.
if i type subtract in l2 then minus increment in m2 from value in j2 until i get a closely calibrated figure as close to the figure in j15 and then the same for j16 in another cell.
i have like 200 cells i need to apply this formula to so an IFstatement is better than a macro.
help me solve this and beers on the mansion..
