Incrementing TEXTnumbers

Hi all

i have a data having some textnums.

i want to do automation in textnum.

one way is to filter the data & do it manually. but if i want that excel should automatically recognise & give the number how can i do that?

for eg.

i have a data like, A1, A2, A3....., B1, B2. B3....., C1......

if i want to add A4 or b4 automatically if i give the type as A, or B or C

Please check below what i want to do.

Type NUmber
A A1
A A2
A A3
B B1
B B2
C C1
A if i want to add item A number should come automatically as A4
B if i want to add item B number should come automatically as B3
C if i want to add item C number should come automatically as C2
how can i go about doing this? please Help.
