I have a problem with my workbook that uses INDEX and MATCH Funtions, it finds the data (text) in the other spreadsheet and pulls it over, but it only brings back part of the text.

My question. Is there a limit on the amount of data the INDEX funtion will return.

I have about 700 lines that is returning data.

I also get the the message below when the spreadsheet is update which is over an internal network.

Excel cannot complete this task with available resouces. Choose less data or close other applications.

Cannot belive that the system has hit its limit with 700 lookup and INDEX funtions

thank you in advance for any replies
