Index and Match , however @row id used for lookup value

Hi

I have been using Index and Match function for a number of years, however came across this formula and finding it a bit hard to understand its relevant purpose. To get the actual look up value for the row component, they have used =index (array, match([@rowid]], look up table,0),0). I understand they want the look value to be 1, 2 and so on, however want to know the actual purpose of doing it this way. I have also attached the file where I have shown the current issue.

That is a reference to a structured table. rowid is the name of a column, the @ symbol refers to the row with the formula.

Thank you very much Jacob for your prompt response . I did go through the defined names and tables and couldn’t see it under there.
