index and offset help

in column A i have dates

in column B i have NAV


from say jan 01 to june 02....


again in column Ci have dates
and column D i have NAV

from say july 02 to may 04...


i have monthly data .....


now in column E i want to see all the dates

and column F i want to see all the NAV

ie from Jan 01 to may 04...



how to do this....
vlookup wont work ...as data is in diff columns.....

i m sure index , offset etc will work but dont know how...
can some one help......

I believe that you are also going to have to tell us in what rows of each of the columns it is that you have the data, before anyone can even try to help you.

I'm sure I am asking the obvious, but why not just copy and paste the data into these columns? If you are looking for an automated means of doing this, VB might be the best way to go.
