Index & Match 2 criteria

Hi Everyone,

I have had a look around and tried a few previous answers on this subject but cant get it to work for me.

I have an entry tab which I am consilidating into a unique tab but I want the Description in the unique tab to look at Cells A2 + B2 and match them and bring up the first discription it comes across in the entry tab that is a match.

The formula I am using at the moment is the below but that only looks at cell A2 and matches to that cell

=IFERROR(INDEX(Entry!$C$2:$C$3000,MATCH(Unique!A2,Entry!$A$2:$A$3000,0)),"")

I have edited the formula to the below which returns data for some cells but it is not the correct data and some cells come out blank for some reason.

=IFERROR(INDEX(Entry!$C$2:$C$3000,MATCH(1,(Entry!A:A=A2)*(Entry!B:B=B2),0)),"")

Can anyone help at all?

How about using XLookup ?
