Imagine we have 2 different sheets with datas and we are efficiently using the properties of the index/match function...

What we need to have at the end is to PRESERVE the color of the cells(the indexed ones - first sheet) at the second sheet where we are using the index/match formula...

any idea?!

Kind regards.

P.S: If something is not clear please ask me any question to make the problem clearer.

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
It's not possible for a formula to change the colour of a cell. You could use Conditional Formatting and apply the same condition to both cells.

Hi,

the colour of the cells(first sheet) is not given through by conditional formatting but its done manually for different reasons...

So the problem is to index match in the second sheet including the colour of the cells(manually given)...

Any idea?!

Kind regards.
