Hi guys,

=indirect('ag1'!C:F),match(clean(trim(F42)),T(IF({1},TRIM(CLEAN(INDIRECT('ag1'!C:F))))),0),4)

but it keeps coming up with an error - i know im missing something basic, but cant figure it out

Error message is "Theres a prob with this formula, Not trying to to type a formula? when the first character is an equal etc etc etc etc

Excel Facts

Will the fill handle fill 1, 2, 3?
Yes! Type 1 in a cell. Hold down Ctrl while you drag the fill handle.
I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish, but part of the problem is with the indirect statement...you'll need double quotes rather than single. It would look something like =INDIRECT("ag1",TRUE). Just wondering though...are you intending to do an index/match function...rather than indirect/match?
