I'm currently using an index-match formula. Iin mty index-match formula, I'm pointing a cell that is built using an If-and statement. When I reference the cell in my index-match formula, I get #N/A. When I hard-code the cell, the index-match formula works fine. How can I get around this? I'm trying to avoid any an all manual entry/hardcoding.

I appreciate any and all response.

Thank you.

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.
Can you post your formulas?

=INDEX($X$24:$Z$25,MATCH($R$17,$W$24:$W$25,1),MATCH($Y$13,$X$23:$Z$23,1))

=IF(AND(R13=2%,R15=10%),"2","1") <--- this is cell R17

Because my index/match is referencing the If/And formula, #N/A is returned in my index/match result. If I hard code the If/And formula cell to eithera 1 or 2, the index/match works fine.

Take the quotes out of your second formula.

=IF(AND(R13=2%,R15=10%),2,1)

Adding quotes stores the numbers as text, not as integers.
