That will only happen if you are trying to use it with an older version of excel. TEXTJOIN only works with 2019 or newer.

Looking at the XL2BB sheet in your post, it looks like you have entered the formula incorrectly but that would not cause the error that you are seeing.

Excel Facts

Format cells as currency
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+4 to format cells as currency. (Shift 4 is the $ sign).
