I have 2 separate lists, both looking similar to the example below. Pulling this data using vlookup is very easy--however, vlookups seems to be slowing down my computer greatly. I am trying to pull data from both of these lists into a master list. One set of data contains sales by month. The other set contains units by month.
As such, I am trying to use Index/Match. I am not able to get over the last hurdle. Could someone please help? I would like the Index/Match to automatically pull the respective sales for each month--i.e. I don't have to type in a column number like I do with vlookups. Is this possible? I am still slightly confused as to how index/match works, and none of the tutorials seem to be help.
Thanks in advance.
