Hello,

I'm not sure if the subject title is completely correct but here is what I'm trying to accomplish. Instead of referencing another workbook like so:

='[another.xls]RAW'!$A$1

I'd like to put another.xls in a cell, let's say cell B2 and reference it like this:

='["&B2&"]RAW'!$A$1

I think I'm close but I'm missing a little something. Eh.

Thanks in advance!

Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple

=INDIRECT("'["&B2&"]RAW'!$A$1")

This requires that the target file is open during processing.
