indirect, make it, shorter

hello

I have this formula

=LEFT("m_"&INDIRECT(""&"B14");IF(ISERROR(FIND("+";INDIRECT(""&"B14"))+1);LEN(INDIRECT(""&"B14"))+2;FIND("+";INDIRECT(""&"B14"))+1))

this formula read cell B14 will add "m_" and if the cell contain '+' will cut the string after +. to let something like this: "m_string"
in B14 is "string1" will result m_string1
in B14 is "string2+something" will result m_string2

it is working...but I want to put this formula in
index(),match(),match()

if I putted will not gone work because it is too long

so can be this done shorter? or different approach

Why the use of Indirect?

Try

="m_"&LEFT(B14,IF(ISERR(FIND("+",B14)),LEN(B14),FIND("+",B14)-1))
