indirect syntax issue/logic

Hello

can someone pls help me sort this formula....

=SUMIF(INDIRECT("'"&Calculations!$D$35&"'!"&$C$8:$C$28,'Raw Data'!$E$4,INDEX('US Southeast'!$E$8:$BE$28,0,MATCH($I4,'US Southeast'!$E$5:$BE$5,0))))

basically, E27 = worksheet name, so if i change it on cell, i want it to go into that workbook and grab that data.


can someone pls help! driving me nuts! thx u

Looks like you forgot to finish off your INDIRECT function (and the quotes within it):

=SUMIF(INDIRECT("'"&$E$27&"'!$C$8:$C$28"),'Raw Data'!$E$4,INDEX('US Southeast'!$E$8:$BE$28,0,MATCH($I4,'US Southeast'!$E$5:$BE$5,0)))
