I currently have my workers filling out a spreadsheet each day with the number of hours they spent on each task for each client. From this spreadsheet I can summarize project costs, worker production etc...
Currently all workers have access to the spreadsheet. This has caused some issues with multiple copies of the workbook (it is saved on dropbox, so if two workers open at the same time, things start going sideways), and also, if someone wanted to, they could start changing other peoples hours, production etc...
I'm looking for a way to update the main workbook, without giving workers access to it. Ideally, I'd have a pdf timecard for them to fill out on their Ipads that would automatically download when they got to the office wifi, and update the work book with the pdf timecard info. Alternatively the timecard could be in a different format (Numbers app or something)
I'm hoping to figure out what program to use to make the timecard, and how to go about getting it to update the main workbook. Any ideas would be appreciated.
